VS. 61 CAVALRY A The second semi finals played between RVC and 61 Cavalry 'A' was closely contested match. RVC started with ½ goals on handicap and scored 2 goals in the 1st chukker while Maj Atul Gupta scored a goal for 61 Cavalry 'A'. In the 2nd and 3rd chukker RVC scored one goal and two goals respectively while 61 Calvary 'A' were unable to score any goal after putting their best efforts. In the last chukker 61 Cavalry scored 3 goals to reduced the margin 4 - 5 ½. Mr Dhruvpal Godara scored all five goal for winners. Maj Atul Gupta and Yogeshwer Singh scored one goal each and Capt AS Baath scored 2 goals for
runners up. RVC won the match 5.5 - 4.
QUARTER FINALS NOV
8, 2002 IMA
VS. ASC The match played between IMA and ASC was closely contested match. IMA conceded ½ goal on handicap to ASC and scored 2 goals in the 1st chukker while ASC scored one goal in this chukker. In the 2nd chukker Capt Navneet Singh scored one goal for ASC while Maj Manoj Dewan scored 2 goals for IMA and increased their lead to 4 -2 ½. Beginning of the 3rd chukker ASC quickly scored 2 goals through Capt GS Pandher and took the lead 4 ½ to 4 but Maj Ajay Ahlawat from IMA scored a goal and maintained their lead 5 to 4 ½ to at the end of 3rd chukker. The last chukker was disastrous to ASC in which they scored only one goal through Maj Tarsem Singh while IMA scored 3 goals. The match was ended in favour of IMA by 8 goals to 5 ½. The scorer for IMA were Maj Manoj Dewan and Maj AS Randhawa 3 goals each and Maj Ajay Ahlawat 2 goals. For ASC Capt GS Pandher and Capt Navneet Singh 2 goals each and Maj Tarsem Singh one goal.
IMA won the match 8-5.5.

6, 2002 RVC
VS. HUR The first match of the day played between RVC and HUR was closely contested match.RVC started with ½ goal handicap. In the first chukker both team scored one goal each.. In the 2nd Chukker Hur scored one goal to take their lead 2 - 1 ½ . The 3rd chukker was very disastrous for Hur in which they unable to scored any goal while RVC scored three goals to take their lead 4 ½ to 2 in favour of RVC. In the last chukker both teams played superb game but RVC could not scored any goal while Shamsher Ali scored two goals for Hur to marrow the margin 4 – 4 ½ in favour of RVC. The scorer for RVC Maj SS Kashyap (4). For
runners up Shamsheer Ali was the lone scorer who scored all the four goals.

61 Cavalry B
VS. JPC The second match of the day played between 61 Cavalry ‘B’ and JPC was also a good match. Both of them were 6 goal team. Simran Shergill opened the account for 61 Cavalry ‘B’ scoring a goal in the 1st chukker which was equalized by JPC in the 2nd chukker by scoring a goal through Pritam singh. In the third chukker the combination of Maj Taraun Sirohi and Mr Simran Shergill scored two quick goals for 61 Cavalry ‘B’ while JPC failed to score any goal in that chukker. In the last chukker both teams played a superb game Simran Shergill scored 2 goals for 61 Cavalry ‘B’ and increase their lead 5 -1. In the last minutes of the last chukker Raghav Raj Singh Scored two quick goals for JPC to reduce the margin 3-5. The match ended in favour of 61 Cavalry ‘B’. The Scorers for the winners were Mr Simran Shergill (4) Maj Tarun Sirohi (1) while Pritam Singh scored (1) and Raghav Raj Singh scored (2) for
runners up. 61 Cav B won the match 5 - 3.
ROUND 1 NOV
2, 2002 IMA
VS. SAHGAL STUD The first match of the day played between IMA and Sahgal Stud was closely contested match. IMA took a quick lead by scoring 5 goals in the first chukker it self and again scored one goal each in the 2nd and 3rd chukker while Sahgal Stud scored 6 goals through Mr Oliver Taylor who scored all goals in 2nd,3rd and 4th
Chukker. Maj AS Randhawa (3) Maj Manoj Dewan (2) Maj Ajay Ahlawat (2) scored for the winners. It was an exiting and closely contested match marked by excellent team work of IMA team.
IMA won the match 7 - 6.
HYDERABAD
CHOUGAN VS. ASC The second match of the day played between Hyderabad Chougan and ASC was an evenly match. ASC started with ½ goal handicap and scored two goals each in the 1st and 2nd chukker while Ajit Singh scored one goal for Hyderabad Chougan in the 2nd
chukker. In the third chukker both teams scored one goal each. In the last chukker Hyderabad Chougn scored two goals while ASC scored one goal. The match was ended in favour of ASC by 6 ½ goals to 4. Maj Tarsem Singh and Capt GS Pandher scored 3 goals each for ASC while and for
runners up Ajit Singh and Basher Ali scored 2 goals each. ASC
won the game 6.5 - 4.
NOV 1, 2002
RVC VS. Navy
The first match of the day played between Navy and RVC was a one sided affair. RVC started with ½ goal on handicap and scored 2 goals each in 1,2 and 3rd chukker and one goal in the last chukker while Lt AS Sangha scored one goal in 1st chukker and LT AP Singh scored one goal in the last chukker for Navy. The scorer for winners were Dhruvpal Godara 5 goals and Maj SS Kashyap 2 goals.

The final score was 10 - 3 ½ in favour of HUR.
