Brazil defeated Chile 12-7 to remain unbeaten on day 8 of the FIP Polo World Cup 2011 being played in San Luis, Argentina.

Brazil had an unsuccessful start in the game and it took two chukkers to take the team's strategy forward. The comeback of the Brazilian team was bolstered by the brilliant performance of Peter Zacharias scorer of several goals for his team after which Brazil took the lead 5-4 for the first time in the match.

In the second half Chile tried to use the technical strengths of players Juan Ignacio Sanchez and Vercellino, both trying to coordinate the attack with long strokes from the back of the field, but such efforts did not translated into goals and then two goals gave Brazil the lead 7-4. Chile closed its second consecutive chukker without scoring goals.

Brazil was really on and not willing to let anyone get in their way to the final and that is why in the last two chukkas they did not lower the intensity of the game thanks to Zacharias. Brazil to take the match by a comfortable score of 12-7.

Both teams gave everything and played to the maximum and not surprisingly that Chilean fans greeted their riders with applause and cheers, and then applauded and congratulated to the Brazilian quartet.
