Maharaj Prithi Singh Cup (6 goal) in Delhi at the Jaipur Polo Ground.

Oct 26, 2007 Semi Finals
Cavalry/Aspen Crew beat Drakon by 10 goals to 5
and ASC beat RVC by 8 goals to 1 in the semi finals matches of Maharaj
Prithi Singh Cup (6 goal) polo tournament played today at the Army
Equestrian Centre, Delhi Cantt and entered in the finals which will be
played on Saturday Oct 27, at 4:00 PM at the Army Equestrian Centre,
Delhi Cantt.
The first semi finals was played between ASC and RVC. Both teams were 6
goals each but the match turned a one sided affair. For RVC Robert
Waston was the lone scorer who scored a goal through a 40 yard penalty
whereas Kelvin Johnson scored 7 goals and Lt Col NS Khera scored one
goal for the ASC.
The second semi match was played between Cavalry/Aspen Crew and Drakon.
Cavalry/Aspen Crew team scored 4 goals in the 1st chukker and put the
pressure on their opponents from the very beginning while Prathik N
scored one goal in the 1st chukker. In the 2nd chukker Prathik N again
scored 2 goals while Lt Col Tarun Sirohi scored a goal for Cavalry/Aspen
Crew. In the 3rd chukker Drakon scored 2 goals while Cavalry/Aspen Crew
score one goal. Last chukker was not in favour of Drakon in which they
could not score any goal while Cavalry/Aspen Crew scored 4 goals to make
final score 10 to 5. Scorers for Cavalry/Aspen Crew were – Lt Col Tarun
Sirohi (6), Maj Ravi Rathore (3), Maj Saurabh Saharan (1). Scorers for
Drakon were Prathik N (3), Baljinder Dhillon ((1), Maj Faiz Siddiqui
(1).

Cavalry/Aspen Crew beat JPC by 9 goals to 8
Tarun Sirohi slotted in six goals, while Ravi Rathore struck
three as Cavalry-Aspen Crew defeated Jaipur Polo Club 9-8.
For JPC, Manupal Godara scored five, while Ransher Singh (2) and
Deepankar Sharma were the other scorers.
